Thanks to a special treat offered on the
Spoon website
we find out that the Motown stomp of
Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga
's "You Got Yr. Cherry Bomb" began life as a quasi-country ditty. While not as effective as the catchy-as-hell album version, "Cherry Bomb Country" is certainly a fun listen that provides great insight into the band's writing process.
