Tapes 'N Tapes Reveal New Album Details

Tapes 'N Tapes What do Tapes 'N Tapes and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah have in common? Dave Fridmann produced both band's sophomore slump. We kid! We actually hope TNT doesn't take it on the chin from bloggers like CYHSY did after their meteoric rise from obscurity to the top of blogosphere mountain, but they probably will. Build 'em up and knock 'em down boys!

We'll find out soon enough as Tapes 'N Tapes have released details of their forthcoming album. Walk It Off is due April 8th via XL Recordings:

Tapes 'n Tapes Heading Into The Studio

Love 'em or hate 'em, blog superstars Tapes 'n Tapes are heading into the studio in June to record songs for their second album. Singer Josh Grier talks 'n talks to Billboard:
"None of the songs have been played live so far," Grier tells Billboard.com. "I've been holding off and wanted to get to the point where I was comfortable with them and liked how they were sounding."

"I think we always try to have each song be its own personality and its own sound so I'm sure there will be some stuff on there that doesn't have the same type of songs that we played before," Grier says. "That's what we always go for, to try out new stuff, so I think it'll sound like us. It's pretty much the same group of guys but I'm sure there's going to be, at least for us, a songwriting growth."
