Mercury Rev to Release Two Albums in September

Mercury Rev After more than a three year absence, Mercury Rev will return on September 29th with not one, but two albums. According the band's website, Snowflake Midnight is "a set of nine self-luminous and astonishing new songs."

If that hard sell isn't enough for you, consider Snowflake's companion piece, Strange Attractor—said to be "even subtler" and available for free download by joining the band's mailing list. Sounds like a pretty good deal.
