Black Dice Sign to Paw Tracks + MP3

Longtime Animal Collective associates Black Dice have signed to AC's Paw Tracks record label to release their next record, Load Blown. Head die, Eric Copeland, and AC's Avey Tare are former roommates and released an album (Dead Drunk) as Terrestrial Tones on Paw Tracks back in '06. More recently, Copeland held the opening slot for Panda Bear's recent live outings.

Load Blown is set for an October 23rd release date and features a cover of the best Beach Boys song ever—"Kokomo."

Okay, so it's not really a cover of the classic John Stamos bongo enhanced island jam. But, who's to say it's not equally Piña Colada friendly?
