I think it was John Lennon who said you can put whatever you want in a song as long as you sugarcoat it. I guess Andy Partrige took him at his word.
Billy Bragg doesn't get the credit he deserves. I really love the lyrics in this song.
Try not singing along to this song when you hear it. I dare you.
Was there ever a more evoctavie voice than Nick's?
I didn't like Show Your Bones all that much but this song is great.
Emily Hains has a very sexy voice.
I don't know if I've ever really got this song but it sounds cool.
A really twisted hometown pick.
The Velvet's write a pop song and somehow the world is still turning.
You know, for a bunch of space rockers from Kentucy, this song will not leave your head for weeks.
File this under gorgeously tragic.
I like the drumming on this song
I don't know how they write so many great melodys but I love them for it.
This has such a cool folksy feeling to it, it's impossible not to love it.
This song is big, anthmeic and has strings. All from a singer with a really cool name.
It's always nice to end a mixtape with a song about suicide. Especially a song as beautiful as this.
