Hey folks. The new Elf Power album, Back to the Web, comes out via Rykodisc on April 25th. We'll be touring North America in support of the new album from late April through mid-May. So, come out and say "hello."

Alright, so this came out on my label (Orange Twin), BUT it is a truly amazing lost gem from the 1970's, kind of a female hybrid of Nick Drake/Leonard Cohen... This particular tune is a nice slice of domestic tranquility with Sibylle singing about coming home from work, playing with the cat, eating some food, and playing a song for her boyfriend...

From their legendary 1987 debut Scum, this record is so fast and so heavy, it actually becomes kind of a soothing, ambient blur washing over you like a warm ray of light.

Roky's mesmerizing ode to deja vu... I witnessed his triumphant return to the stage this year and I wept tears of pure joy...

5. The Grateful Dead - Box Of Rain

Whenever you next hear some idiot spouting off about how the Dead were a great live band, but made shitty records, punch 'em in the jaw and put on American Beauty. It's the only way they'll learn the truth.
