Was looking forward to this record to see how they grew from sung tongs' pop sounds. and found that they had grown and the pop that they are capable of making is astounding. still strange and thick with sound but tighter. the first half of the album is very strong. as for the last half, while still good, it shows thier inability to track a record as a flowing thing. as with sung tongs, the album starts off fast paced and ends up faltering somewhere around the midpoint. but noetheless, the first half makes up for the last half for the most part. this album is still one of my favorites to put in the ol' player and enjoy.
