Reminds me a lot in a certain way of the first Strokes record or the first Weezer album. Just one of those records that kinda comes outta nowhere and where every song is good. It sounds fresh too, and, as I've been on a big Ethiopiques kick, kinda fits in nicely with what I've been listening to, what with the African music influence. I don't know how much Paul Simon's Graceland has to do with it. Maybe a whole lot, or maybe that's just the only reference point anybody coming from an indie rock background really has to compare it to. I don't even care. Young kids, good songs, nothing fancy. Pretty darn good.
