it took me a long time to get around to checking this album out for some reason, and now i'm sorry i waited so long. i think i wasn't crazy about the band name, so i just kept passing it up. i hate it when i do that. but i just heard it, and think it's awesome. this album has some really cool guitar playing on it. reminds me, at times, of some very free/improvisational stuff like nels cline or something similar in the improvy/sound-experimentalist realm (but still very understandable). while it has this experimental quality, the band never departs to far from rock-like song strunctures, so you don't ever get lost in a mess of jam-out maddness. also, the singer's voice is really awesome, so pure and plain sounding...really pretty. i would definitely recommend this one.
